This workshop focuses on two grant programs NSF offers to graduate students at different stages of their graduate education: The Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) supports outstanding 1st- and 2nd-year graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees at accredited US institutions; and the Doctoral Dissertation Improvement Grants (DDIGs) in selected Directorates and Divisions of NSF provide partial support to doctoral students actively working on their dissertations. **For graduate students only**
