TraCS Tales of Translation features experienced scientists from academia and industry discussing the many twists and turns that are a part of research careers in the life sciences. Participating scientists will be asked to speak informally about their career decisions and pivot points, what translation means to them, and their advice for early stage researchers. This week's researcher is Joseph Sebastian, PhD.

Sebastian leads Business Development & Scientific strategy for Infectious Diseases (ID) and Liver Diseases at Q2 Solutions. His responsibilities as Scientific Advisor for infectious and liver diseases are to make recommendations to ensure that Q2 Solutions has a global strategy for ID & NASH testing. This includes the identification of novel, cutting edge technology platforms and assays. Sebastian has over 18 years of experience in senior scientific leadership positions within the reference Laboratory and clinical trial Laboratory sectors.

There will be a Q&A session at the end.
