As increasing numbers of funding agencies are looking to see evidence of community stakeholder engagement in research planning and implementation, NC TraCS has assisted with the formation of The PRIME Collective, a group of community public health advisors who can provide consultation to researchers in including community members as collaborative partners in research.  Faculty and post-docs from UNC Chapel Hill, NC A&T, and RTI are eligible to apply for vouchers that will pay for community consultation with the PRIME Collective.

To inform researchers and research staff about this new opportunity designed to assist researchers in the design and implementation of community based stakeholder engagement, an open discussion  will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, from 2 - 3 pm in room 219 of the Brinkhous-Bullitt building.  An explanation of the application procedures will be followed by an open discussion with representatives of the PRIME Collective, Mysha Wynn and Melvin Jackson, on the types of consultation the PRIME Collective will provide.
