Carolina KickStart of the NC TraCS Institute, Innovate@Carolina, Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, Office of Technology Development, and RENCI invite you to attend UNC-Chapel Hill's 2013 Emerging Company Showcase (ECS) on Thursday, May 9th at 6:00pm at The William and Ida Friday Center.

The ECS spotlights early-stage companies spinning out of UNC. The ECS provides an opportunity for promising young companies to interact with potential investors, local entrepreneurs and experts, and service providers from around the Triangle. 

Companies
We will host two concurrent tracks this year, Scientific and Tech/Social track.  Six companies will present for each track and finalists will be announced in early-April. 

Format
12 UNC startups companies will present short 8 minute pitches about their big idea. Following the presentations, there will be casual networking session and individual company booths, to allow for networking, demos and one-on-one meetings.
