This online self-paced and self-guided course is designed for professionals who work with and support young children and their families in a variety of learning environments and inclusive settings. Better Together: Powerful Family Partnerships builds on the basic communication practices examined in the CONNECT course Communication for Professional Collaboration by extending communication to partnership-oriented practices designed to promote trusting partnerships with families. Similar to basic communication skills, partnership-oriented practices require ongoing practice, reflection, and feedback to improve effectiveness in developing trusting partnerships with families.

Any computer with high-speed internet access
Highly recommended: complete the free 1-hour Foundations of Inclusion online course prior to taking this course.
