Are you interested in incorporating community engagement in your academic and professional work?  Join the Carolina Center for Public Service (CCPS) and The Graduate School for a workshop about various engagement and interdisciplinary sources of funding. Learn ways to gain support and deepen engagement in your studies, hear what others are doing and share your experiences to develop connections for future collaborative endeavors. Students currently connected to CCPS and The Graduate School as well as students who are interested in getting involved and learning more are welcome.

CCPS opportunities for graduate students include Community Engagement Fellowships, Buckley Public Service Scholars (BPSS) program graduate assistant positions, Service-Learning Course Development Grants and the Skills and Practices of Engaged Scholarship seminar series. Representatives from The Graduate School and the Graduate Certificate in Participatory Research will also attend and share information about their initiatives.

Snacks, coffee and tea will be provided.
