The Business School in conjunction with General College Advising is offering small group advising for first-year students who may be interested in pursuing a business degree. Transfer students are also welcome to attend. In the first half of the session, we will discuss the following: business school pre-requisites and course planning, what the business school is looking for in an applicant, what should students do for their sophomore summer, and what global opportunities are available through the business school. In the second half of the session, a Social and Behavioral Sciences Academic Advisor will provide an overview of General College Advising services, help you understand how to make the most of Tarheel Tracker and class search functionality, discuss registration strategies and academic eligibility. By attending this session, we will remove the registration hold that is placed on each first year student’s account until they meet with an Academic Advisor.
