i2b2 is a cohort discovery tool designed to improve your research experience. i2b2 links with the Carolina Data Warehouse for Health and allows UNC investigators to explore and query deidentified, aggregate data.

NC TraCS, along with Research Hub @ Health Sciences Library, provides brief, in-person training sessions to introduce users to i2b2 and teach them how to get the most out of it. Attendance at the training session is required before users can access i2b2.

i2b2 is only available to UNC-Chapel Hill Investigators with a valid ONYEN and who have completed the i2b2 training.
