This symposium, a new collaborative effort between the UNC Center for AIDS Research, UNC Communication for Health Applications and Interventions (CHAI) Core, UNC School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and UNC Lineberger Cancer Prevention & Control Program, seeks to bring researchers together from different disciplines, fields of research, and institutions (UNC, FHI 360, and RTI International) in order to:
1. Develop a network of professionals with interests in technology and health to promote collaborations that leverage expertise at UNC, FHI 360, and RTI International.
2. Present current work on technology applications in HIV, cancer, and obesity, and share knowledge about the use of technology to effectively change behavior across diverse behavioral areas.
