The Women in Science group (WinS) will be hosting their annual symposium on Friday, April 12th to recognize the work and contributions of women to the advancement of science. In honor of the 5th Women in Science Symposium, we are featuring successful female scientists from UNC.
 
Keynote: Dr. Allyson Evans, Deputy Editor at Molecular Cell 
 
A networking lunch and poster session competition will follow a panel featuring UNC alumni in various scientific careers. The symposium will end with the keynote speech from Dr. Evans and poster winner awards that include travel awards and dinner with our keynote speaker. We welcome and encourage all genders to participate in this event!!

If you plan to attend the luncheon, please RSVP during registration, and please rank your top 3 table choices.

We will be offering $400 and $200 travel awards to the best poster presentations for graduate students and postdocs!
