A Healthcare Start-up in a Crowded Vertical

Measuring and improving the patient experience has become one of the top priorities of the healthcare system. The space is full of existing companies and solutions, all of whom want a piece of the nearly $2 trillion annual spend by hospitals and provider offices. Bivarus spun out of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 and is redefining how healthcare leaders capture and operationalize patient- and employee-generated insights to improve patient care and service operations. 

David Levin, Chief Executive Officer, and Amos Slaymaker, VP of Sales and Business Development will discuss the lessons learned entering this space as well as what it's been like growing from a one location / 10 employee company to one with over 70 employees and two locations in under a year.
