|Carolinas Collaborative Pilot RFA Webinar||Return to listing|
The CTSAs and Carolinas Collaborative will host an informational webinar on Monday, May 8 at 12-1PM. This optional webinar will include an overview of the Carolinas Collaborative and the pilot RFA, followed by time for questions. Interested investigators from all institutions are welcome to join.
North and South Carolina are home to 4 CTSA hubs - Duke U., the Medical U. of South Carolina, the UNC Chapel Hill/RTI partnership, and Wake Forest U. - who have partnered with Health Sciences South Carolina (HSSC) to create the Carolinas Collaborative, a data resource that harmonizes the electronic health record data across the institutions to expedite clinical research and quality improvement. In order to promote inter-institutional collaborations and increase utilization of the resources, the 4 CTSAs are soliciting proposals involving at least 2 of the Carolina CTSAs that utilize the data available from the Carolinas Collaborative to generate new knowledge and improve the quality of care delivered to patients in the Carolinas. The work should collect preliminary data to lead to a competitive proposal to an external funding agency (NIH, AHRQ, PCORI, etc.) within 1 year from funding. The pilot RFA is available here.
