The inaugural SPEIA Basketball Analytics Summit will be held on Friday, May 2 through Saturday, May 3, 2014 on the beautiful campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Our mission is to engage with and explore the best practices of the leading basketball experts (professionals, students, and scholars) who love, research, and work in the discipline of performance (individual or team) and business analytics. Sessions include: Fan Experience & Engagement, Individual Performance/APBRmetrics, Marketing/Ticketing, Sport Science, and Entrepreneurship in Analytics. In addition, undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to participate in the NBA Analytics Case Competition.
