A person’s education, income, and occupation, as well as their subjective sense of their social standing in society, are strong predictors of disease morbidity and mortality. But how do these social and economic factors get “under the skin” to influence physical health? In this talk, Dr. Keely Muscatell will discuss her program of research that attempts to undercover the neural, psychological, and physiological mechanisms by which socioeconomic status impacts health outcomes.

Speaker: Dr. Keely Muscatell, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology and Neuroscience
