The third lecture in the Spring 2019 ENLaCE Multilingual Research Capacity Building Lecture series will take place on Wednesday, April 24, from 10am - 11:30am. Dr. Laura Villa Torres will present on including in health research Latina families whose members have different categories of immigrant or non-immigrant status.

About presenter: Dr. Laura Villa Torres holds a MSPH and PhD in Health Behavior from UNC Gillings School of Public Health. Her current research interests are on the health disparities lived by immigrants from Mexico in the United States, particularly among those living with limited documentation status. Laura’s methodological strengths are qualitative research and community-based participatory methods.
