LARRY D. KEITH HEALTH PROFESSIONS RECRUITMENT FAIR

The 2019 Larry D. Keith Health Professions Recruitment Fair will be sponsored by the University of North Carolina Schools of Medicine and Dentistry and NC AHEC Programs. We are honored to invite recruiters from health professional programs across the country to join us for a day of networking and information sharing with the next generation of health care professionals. We are planning a full and dynamic schedule of events this year and look forward to your participation in the morning panels and the afternoon recruitment fair and mock interview sessions.

The purpose of the recruitment fair is to enable a group of summer program participants to expand their horizons on the professional school opportunities available to them, to enrich their understanding of the pre-professional planning process, and to engage with professional school representatives from a variety of health professional programs. Approximately 200 minority and underrepresented students -- mostly rising college sophomores, juniors, seniors, and post-graduates from a variety of backgrounds including rural, first generation, minority, and socio-economically disadvantaged -- will attend, in addition to many pre-health advisors. The students attending this year's fair will come from the following summer programs:

·         UNC Schools of Medicine and Denistry's Medical Education Development (MED) Program

·         UNC Chapel Hill Science Enrichment Program (SEP)

·         Other prehealth professional students from surrounding NC schools and other partner institution summer programs

Bronze Registration: $275 and includes

• Full table with two seats for the recruitment fair
• Continental breakfast and lunch provided for up to two representatives on Saturday.

Silver Registration: $375 and includes 

• Bronze Registration
• 1/2 (Horizontal) Advertisement: 6.50" (width) X 4.5" (height)

Gold Registration: $475 and includes 

• Bronze Registration 
• 1 Full Page Advertisement: 6.50" (width) X 9.0" (heigh)

PROGRAM ADVERTISEMENTS

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS

We have reserved a block of rooms at the The Sheraton Hotel - Chapel Hill. Shuttle service will be provided by the Office of Special Programs. The rooms reserved have been discounted for our group for $109.00 per night*
