Dr. Aaron Towers is a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) 1 at IQVIA, one of the largest contract research organizations in the world.  After completing his PhD in Genetics and Genomics at Duke University, Dr. Towers was hired as a CRA at Quintiles (now IQVIA) where he provided clinical monitoring in all aspects of a clinical trial including subject safety, data review, adherence to study protocols, and updating of study documentations.  Now as a Senior CRA, he acts as a mentor to incoming CRAs while still playing a critical role in clinical trial monitoring from site selection to the conclusion of the trial.  Furthermore, his focus on genetics and neuroscience during his thesis has allowed him to specialize in clinical trials related to Alzheimer’s disease and act as a critical scientific resource for all incoming study team members.
