Opportunities, Challenges & Resources in Regenerative Medicine Return to listing


The UNC School of Medicine and the NCSU Center for Comparative Medicine and Translational Research are hosting the initial Regenerative Medicine Symposium: Opportunities, Challenges, and Resources in Regenerative Medicine on October 15, 2013.  Sixteen speakers from both UNC-Chapel Hill and NCSU will present.  The presentations are in 3 sessions: 1) Bone, Cartilage and Regenerative Medicine, 2) Intestinal & Cardiovascular Stem cells in Tissue Repair & Regenerative Medicine, and 3) Resources, Challenges and Under studied themes.  The Symposium will end with a round table discussion on Avenues for Collaboration and Needed Resources from 4:45-5:45 pm with a reception following.  Registration is from 7:30-8:00 am.  Introductions begin at 8:15 am.  Session I starts at 8:45 am.  Lunch is free for registered attendees.  Registration ends on October 10, 2013.

There will also be a Poster Session throughout the day, with formal presentations during lunch and at the end of the day.  If you wish to present a poster, please submit an abstract by email it to Liz Selisker [liz_selisker@ncsu.edu], or Dede Corvinus [dede_corvinus@med.unc.edu] by September 27th.
