Become a Gillings Ambassador
The Office of Student Affairs is excited to launch an ambassador recruitment program for the Gillings School of Global Public Health (SPH). Ambassadors can be staff, students, faculty or alumni of the School. Similar to the University’s admission ambassadors, these volunteers will be the face of the School and University and are therefore tasked with engaging prospective students while promoting our various programs and resources.
Ambassadors have the unique responsibility to serve as a bridge between UNC and SPH communities and prospective students. We are in contact with prospective students through a variety of requests and events including panels, informational meetings, school tours, graduate and career fairs, presentations on campus and a number of other institutions in North Carolina and across the country.
This recruitment program will have a palpable impact on our School so all ambassadors will be required to complete the ambassador training and commit to continued education and training as necessary.
