The Carolina Nanoformulation Workshop is a unique training workshop about Nanotechnology-based approaches that address Pharma and Biopharma needs for delivery of clinically relevant molecules. Participants from academia and industry alike are encouraged to attend all or part of our 3 days of discussion by experts from around the world, and 2 days of hands-on experience in the CNDD (Center for Nanotechnology in Drug Delivery) labs at UNC-Chapel Hill.  

This year's line-up includes an impressive list of speakers and will incorporate daily "speaker roundtable" discussions where participants and speakers will gather together to discuss the day's topics.  During this CNW you will learn about:

• Challenges and opportunities in drug delivery

• Safety, regulation and characterization

• Materials and fabrication approaches

• Overcoming barriers in nanomedicine delivery

• Translational aspects

• Nanotechnology assembly and characterization techniques (hands-on labs)
