The Matthew Gfeller Center is proud to announce the Fourth Matthew Gfeller Sport-Related Neurotrauma Symposium to be held in the BlueZone on the Concourse Level of the new Loudermilk Center for Excellence, located at Kenan Stadium in the heart of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The event will be held on March 3-4, 2017. Seats are limited! 

Friday March 3, 2017:   8:00 AM - 6:00 PM 

Saturday March 4, 2017:  8:00 AM - 4:00 PM 

Purpose
This symposium will provide researchers, physicians, athletic trainers and therapists, and other allied health care professionals with a comprehensive overview of the management of brain and spine injuries in sports. We will accomplish this by providing current concepts in research by world-renowned clinicians and researchers, practial-based approaches to patient care, and open panel discussions to foster an interactive learning environment.

CEU Credit Statements for the Board of Certification, Inc., and the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers. This symposium is eligible for 12 Category A CEUs.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is recognized by the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Therapists. This symposium is eligible for 5.7 CEUs.
