|CCRWH Journal Club: Employee participation in workplace wellness programs||Return to listing|
Join the Carolina Collaborative for Research on Work and Health (CCRWH) for discussion and networking with students, faculty, and staff about current work/health related topics!
Description: This national survey gathered data from 407 employers to explore the correlation between incentives, wellness program design, and employee participation. Huang et al. found that employers who offered incentives had higher employee participation rates - but only for certain types of wellness programs. They also found that employees were most likely to participate in comprehensive programs. We will discuss implications for program design and incentives.
