Genentech Industry Info Session on Thursday, June 27 @1:30p-2:30p in Bondurant 2035
Dr. Catherine Cruz joined the Biological Technology (BT) Department at Genentech in 2015 as a Technical Development Scientist. In this role, Dr. Cruz and her team drives the scientific development, validation, and transfer of several bioassays in support of clinical product development. Prior to joining Genentech, Dr. Cruz received her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University.
The Genentech Industry Info Session will include a presentation introducing Genentech, an overview of a PhD-level scientist position, and information about different positions available to PhDs that want to go that route. Join us for a chat about successfully navigating industry careers, with UNC M&I alum, Dr. Cathy Cruz! Coffee and snacks will be served.
