The Center for Faculty Excellence, in collaboration with Targeting Equity in Access to Mentoring (TEAM) ADVANCE, will host its first campus Mentoring Summit on Friday, May 17, 2019. The CFE Mentoring Summit is a pan-University event, open to all schools and departments, designed to promote equitable, effective mentoring practices for populations across the University.

The CFE Mentoring Summit will feature:

• Morning Keynote Address: Dr. Melissa McDaniels (Michigan State University, National Research Mentoring Network, and the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research)
• Two Rounds of Concurrent Breakout Sessions: workshops featuring strong practices in mentoring across campus and discussion about topics including peer mentoring models, supporting specific populations, mentoring program development, coaching in mentoring, and more!
• Campus Engagement Session featuring Interim Chancellor Guskiewicz and TEAM ADVANCE

All campus senior leadership, department chairs and unit directors, and faculty development leaders, and faculty of all ranks are invited to attend all or part of the event.

9:15 AM: Keynote Address
10:30 AM: Concurrent Sessions I
12:00 PM: Concurrent Sessions II
1:30 PM: Campus Engagement Session with Interim Chancellor Guskiewicz and TEAM ADVANCE
