|Attitude Makes the Difference--And It's Not Easy||Return to listing|
Attitude is recognized as the biggest barrier to successful inclusion. When people have no experience with disability, their perceptions may have little grounding in reality. This workshop provides a variety of experiences that help people safely discover and re-examine their attitudes about disability and inclusion. It’s also hard to find the words to use to talk with families if you are new to disability. Experiences directed toward attitudes about families and finding the words will be the second part of the workshop.
