Twitter Basics

A one-hour workshop to introduce you to Twitter, create an account, Tweet, get followers and be a part of the conversation on social media.

 

Two upcoming lunch-time seminars for UNC staff will provide an opportunity to learn more about using Twitter for your own personal or professional interests. These one-hour workshops will introduce you to Twitter, how to create account, get followers and be a part of the conversation on social media. An optional 30-minute Q & A session at the end of the one hour workshop with Professor Andy Bechtel (School of Media and Journalism) will allow you to pose your own unique questions about getting started with Twitter. 

 

Registration is limited to 28 per class. Lunch is not provided and eating in the computer lab is discouraged. Please eat before or after the seminar. This seminar is sponsored by the Employee Forum’s Public Relations and Communications Committee.
